⭘ The Perception of Space Forum/Innovation Course for Fall Semester 2022, among the South to South International Interdisciplinary Seminar Series launched by the Greater Bay Area Innovation Design Lab, Shenzhen University, comprises six sessions revolving around "The Re-Making of Locality: Clothing, Food, Housing, Transportation & Architecture".
⭘ The Forum still base itself on architecture and bring together interdisciplinary researchers and practitioners in geography, anthropology, architecture and geomantic omen to probe into "space and daily life", in particular our "clothing, food, housing and transportation". By revisiting the concreteness and definiteness of daily routine as well as the experience and logic of locality making, the course will unscramble our familiar perception of daily routine in a new manner on both spatial and interdisciplinary levels and translate them into inspiring design elements. It will also explore the possibility of remaking locality and re-interpret daily routine in the context of globalization through research and practice.
