Exhibition ᅵ Wind Blows, Water Rises

○ On February 7, 2025, the design practice and research exhibition Wind Blows and Water Rises , initiated by Doreen Heng Liu and NODE Architecture & Urbanism in collaboration with The Greater Bay Area Innovation Design Lab at Shenzhen University (SZU), opened at Aedes Architecture Forum in Berlin, accompanied by an opening ceremony and thematic forum. The exhibition systematically presents Doreen Heng Liu and NODE’s "atypical" architectural practices in urban regeneration and infrastructure publicization while showcasing the Greater Bay Area Lab’s research on multi-scalar urban water environments and forward-looking design explorations in response to future ecological challenges.

○ Founded in Berlin in 1980 by Kristin Feireiss and Hans-Jürgen Commerell, Aedes Architecture Forum is a globally renowned independent architectural exhibition institution. Ms. Feireiss has served as a juror for the Pritzker Prize and has been awarded the German Federal Cross of Merit. Aedes has long provided a platform for pioneering architects worldwide, dedicated to showcasing innovative explorations in urban space design and planning, fostering international dialogue, and promoting engagement between professionals and the public.
