The 10th Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism\Architecture (Shenzhen)

○ The 10th Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism\Architecture (Shenzhen) is themed “City Theater.” It is jointly curated by architect Zhu Tao, artist Shen Shaomin, and scientist Ding Ning, with Shanghai Fengyuzhu Culture Technology Co., Ltd. participating as a co-curating institution.

○ The Greater Bay Area Innovation Design Lab of Shenzhen University (The GBA Lab) was invited to participate in the exhibition, presenting two research projects in this edition: “Future Scenarios of Water: The Shenzhen Case” and “Shajing Oysters and the Delta in Transition.”

○ The section featuring these two works, titled “Urban Fragments — Water Chronicles of the Bay Area,” is jointly initiated by scholars Hou Li from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and Liu Heng from the School of Architecture and Urban Planning, Shenzhen University. The section focuses on the profound tensions between human activities and the water environment amid the rapid urbanization of the Pearl River Delta, and through systematic research and curatorial narratives, explores pathways toward a sustainable future.
