○ During the Spring 2026 semester, the School of Architecture and Urban Planning at Shenzhen University invited a teaching team from the Department of Architecture at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar in Germany to participate in a joint design studio and research collaboration focused on the conservation and revitalization of the historic market district of Gongmingxu in Guangming, Shenzhen. The collaboration spans the entire academic year, with the German team visiting Shenzhen in the spring to conduct site research and study architectural and urban design projects across the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area, followed by a return visit to Weimar by the Shenzhen University team during the summer to further develop the joint design studio and strengthen academic exchange. The delegation to Germany was led by Professor Liu Heng and Associate Professor Xiao Jing, together with other faculty members from the School of Architecture and Urban Planning at Shenzhen University.
